Blueberry Lemon Whoopie Pies

1/2 cup butter (softened)
1/2 cup sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 teaspoon lemon extract
1 1/4 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup buttermilk
1 cup blueberries
2 teaspoons lemon zest

1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup cream cheese
1 tablespoon honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla and lemon extract
1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
1 teaspoon lemon zest

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture and add in buttermilk. Fold in lemon zest and blueberries. Drop 1 tablespoon of dough onto baking sheet with parchment paper. Bake until the edges are brown (approx. 10-12 minutes). For filling, beat butter and cream cheese. Add zest, vanilla, honey, and sugar. Spread in between 2 cookies. Refrigerate.
