PEACHES

We grow cling and freestone yellow and white peaches. In cling peaches, the pit does not easily separate from the fleshy fruit. The fruit separates from the stone in freestone peaches. Freestone peaches are easier to work with and are recommended for canning.

Picking Tips

Pick firm peaches a with red rosy color. They will ripen after being picked.

Storing Tips

Keep peaches in the refrigerator until ready to use. Set peach on the counter for a day or two to ripen.

Peaches are a good source of dietary fiber, vitamin A, vitamin C, niacin and potassium.

FAQ - Which are sweeter/better, yellow or white peaches?

It is a personal preference. We compare the peaches to chocolate and vanilla ice cream. Both are sweet and delicious, but most likely you prefer one over the other. The same can be said for the yellow and white peaches.
