APPLE CIDER

We press our own fresh apple cider in the fall from late September until Thanksgiving. We freeze some cider so it is available for the following summer. The cider plant is inspected yearly by the FDA.

Storing Tips

Always keep apple cider refrigerated. It will last up to two weeks in the refrigerator. After use, immediately return to the refrigerator.

Cold Pasteurization

Our cider is treated by a process called cold pasteurization. It goes through a Cider-Sure machine and is treated with UV light. This eliminates any bacteria present, but does not change the taste of the cider. It is not heated.

Freezing Tips

Take a cup of cider out of the gallon before freezing to allow for expansion. Cider will keep up to a year in the freezer. When thawing, place the gallon in the refrigerator at least a day before it is needed. Make sure the cider is completely thawed and shake before using.
